Originally from Mobile, AL and currently based in Columbus, GA, David's work is inspired from the deep love she held for art at an early age. She studied fashion design with a minor in photography at the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she discovered her passion for painting and sculpting the human form.
After graduation, she moved to New York City to further explore art and fashion, where she also met her husband, Kendrick David. In 2008, they returned to Columbus, Georgia, where they are raising their three sons.
Working in a range of media—from watercolor pencil to oils—she draws inspiration from rich colors and layered textures, constantly experimenting to bring depth and life to her work. Above all, her family remains her greatest source of inspiration and encouragement.
